Whether you choose an indoor or outdoor shoot you can bet we are going to have fun. I am a VERY laid-back person and I LOVE to play.

Indoor session-your home

I will come to your home and chit-chat with your child and show them my camera. I will ask them to show me their room and all the places with really great light. I may go through their closet and pick out some clothes for them to wear.

And then we will just play.

We will bounce on the bed and read stories and maybe have a light saber fight. And if you have an infant we may just sit on mommy's bed and play with some toys. And when it is time to take a break, we will. We may play for one hour or we may play for 3 hours.

Indoor session- my home

I am lucky enough to have a home with some pretty sweet spots of light. Sessions at my home are best for newborns, infants, or 3-7 year old sessions. I really love to get children in their own home but if you would prefer, you are welcome to come to my home. I do a limited number of sessions in my home. My home is best if you want to get a lot of really dramatic close-ups. Each child will be photographed on a big white chair.

Outdoor session

These can take place literally anywhere you choose. I have a couple locations that I LOVE to shoot at but I am open to shooting ANYWHERE. A typical outdoor shoot is scheduled at least two hours before sunset or in the early morning. I love to shoot children at parks as well. I will guide you to areas where the light is fabulous and then we will just interact and play!

Birthday Mini-Sessions

These sessions take place in my home studio. Each child is given a specialty cupcake to eat and is photographed on a white couch, orange chair and many other fun areas. These are a great way to document that special day!
